The Myasthenia Gravis Association - Unsigned May 08 A Charity working from its headquarters in Derby, England through its Regional Organisers, Branches and Representatives throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, offering support to Myasthenics and their families, increasing public and medical awareness and raising funds for research in order to find a cure. Recent research has resulted in more understanding and better management of the disease but there is still no cure.
The Kajiado Children's Home, Kenya - London's Alright 09 The purpose of the home is the relief of need and the advancement of education in accordance with Christian priciples, in particular for the benefit of orphaned children and children suffering the effects of social and economic deprivation living in Kenya. There are over 80 children living in the home aged from 6 years upwards. The proceeds from London's Alright 09 will be going towards the Manna community Project and will help build a new medical centre.
The Pilgrims Hospices, Kent - London's Alright 07 and 08 Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care free of charge to people in east Kent.We care for patients with a range of life-limiting illnesses including cancer, heart failure, respiratory conditions and neurological diseases. Care is provided from the three sites in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes. Care is also extended to families and carers.
